Disrupt is delighted to bring recent contemporary art by Owen/ Pink O’Malley in collaboration with Lorraine Tuck to public space in Temple Bar. They have been collaborating together since 2015. As uncle and niece, their art-making process is full of fun, laughter and love. Pink also know as Owen, directs outdoor photoshoots with enthusiasm. Owen/ Pink’s personas are joyfully captured by Lorraine. Upscaled to the expanse of Project Arts Centre’s billboard on the front of the building, this work has its roots in ‘Unusual Gestures’, a portraiture body of work by Lorraine Tuck that was recently made part of the National Photography Collection at Photo Museum Ireland.
